GEN II STEPPER MOTOR GAUGES
Stepper motor gauges operate on similar ranges and inputs as air core meters but the main differences are:
1. NVU GENII stepper motor gauges are LED backlit, may require a LED dimmer
2. GEN II stepper motor gauges have microprocessors on all gauges that read the input and move the pointer accordingly
3. Have DIP-switches that can be access from the back of the gauge to change the input settings or filters
4. All have full 260 degree sweep and startup self diagnostics. Each gauge will do a full-sweep self-calibration when the key is turned on. Chances are if the gauge does a full sweep at startup, the gauge is OK and the issue is with the DIP switch settings or the sender
