OIL PRESSURE GAUGE TEST
Check that there is power and ground at the gauge in the proper positions.
Remove the oil pressure sender wire from the sender, hang loose so that the ring terminal does not touch ground.
Turn on the key, gauge should peg low.
Touch the sender wire end to ground> The gauge should peg high.
-- If it does not peg do the same test at the back of the gauge to rule out the wire. Simply jump from the ground post to the sender wire.
Gauge pegs in eiother test> gauge good TEST SENDER
