GAUGE IS NOT READING VOLTAGE INPUTS

Does the gauge power up and do a full sweep?

YES> NEXT STEP
NO

Are the DIP switches in the correct position?

If a transducer is being used:
Check on the transducer plug that 5V is coming from the gauge to the transducer power wire (generally RED)
Check for ground on the transducer plug

Turn on the Key, probe the back of the gauge with a multimeter:
Ground: ground
B: 12V
S: if a transducer you will see 0.5V (1/2 Volt)
5V: you should see 5V

Start the vehicle, voltage will rise to a maximum of 4.5V if not the transducer may be faulty

NON TRANSDUCER VOLTAGE INPUT (AFR, PCM)

Turn on the Key, probe the back of the gauge with a multimeter:
Ground: ground
B: 12V
S: Check with output manufacturer, generally 0-5V gauge will read 0-5V linear DIP switches ON-OFF
5V: you should see 5V

OK I have it working> DONE!

NO I do not know what is up with this, Call the NVU Tech line at 248-850-5482 please have the code SMS0-5V2 available
