VOLTMETER TROUBLESHOOTING

The voltmeter is the most simple meter NVU offers.  It only requires power and ground.

Find the 12V power connection. It may be studded or on a harness. Turn on power. 
Ground the stud or wire marked ground
Voltmeter should read your current voltage

Gauge "twitches" when I turn on the turn signals or headlamps, etc. This is normal.  Your voltmeter has a high speed meter that will let you know EXACTLY what your electrical system is doing at any time.  The pointer moving is a result of the voltage drop in the system.  It is telling you that the accessory you are using is drawing power reducing the vehicle voltage.

Voltmeter reads high or does not read:
