Tachometer/speedometer does not read properly manual adjustment
This applies to all 3-1 and 2-1 speedo tachs. The gauge on the top wether it is a speedometer or tachometer can be adjusted with the screws at the top. One is for the "zero" one is for the range.
The screws at the bottom are only for the speedo/tach combination gauges with the tachometer at the bottom
If the tachometer operates but reads incorrectly:
Check for proper cylinder selection make sure the proper COMM PORT is selected
If the signal pulse count or output is unknown, then you will have to experiment for the best result.
Once the proper cylinder selection is found and selected, there are some fine tuning potentiometers on the back of the tachs. Using a #00 Phillips head bit, the tachometer can be adjusted. SEE BELOW FOR LOCATIONS
There are adjustment screws on the back of the units. One is to adjust the range, the other to adjust the zero. these can be used for fine adjustments if needed.
