STEPPER MOTOR GAUGE LIGHTS DO NOT OPERATE
The lighting circuit inside the stepper motor gauge is very simple, and not much to go worng there.
The LED lights cannot be connected to a stock instrument cluster rheostat. If the rheostat is turned down too much the lamps will not illuminate.
NVU recommends having the lighting be powered from a non-dimming circuit such as the parking lamp system. This will provide power when the lights are on.
To dim the gauges an LED dimmer is required. NVU part number 99003-04 is available if needed.
